The founder of Phyto hair products is Patrick Ales. Out of his passion for plant healing and hair grooming grew the Phyto line of hair products. He developed natural hair care products, which he used on his own clients, using essential oils and plants.
Each product in the Phyto line is made of active plant extracts and tested to be sure of the results. There is now a laboratory of doctors, biochemists, botanists, and engineers. This way hair care is approached as a science. Each plant is carefully chosen, then the part of the plant that works best, and then the best method for removing it from the plant. The products are then tested but never on animals.
The Phyto line has something for every hair type. This includes specialty products for gray hair, as sensitive scalp, thinning hair and dandruff. There are even sun care and anti-frizz products. All products are color-coded so an entire line can be selected for your unique hair needs, from pretreatments to shampoo to styling products.
For those with dry to damaged hair there is a solution for you. Hair becomes dry because of things blow-drying, hot curling, coloring, or environmental factors. These things cause stress on the hair. This can break down the keratin in the hair leaving it dry and porous. Phyto has lines just for dry and even damaged hair. These will restore shine and softness while repairing the hair.
Color treated hair can leave hair dry and damaged, as well as make it difficult to keep the depth of your hair color. The solution is the use of citrus specifically grapefruit extract. It will smooth and soften the hair while offering UV protection.
There is a line just for textured hair, those with naturally curly or frizzy hair.. It is called Phytospecific. There is a Phytospecific relaxer that has no lye or other harsh chemicals but is still effective at straightening the hair. More hydration is necessary for this hair type and Phyto offers shampoo and conditioners one of which will actually strengthen the hair.
Anti-aging products are always directed toward the skin but hair can show the signs of aging as well. It becomes dry and more fragile. Further damage can occur from the coloring process often used to cover graying hair. To get back that healthy shine and texture there are the Phytodensium serum and shampoo. These protect hair from environmental stress, and harsh treatment of coloring hair. It increases the hair elasticity and strength.
The natural styling products are based on myrrh. This allows for different degrees of hold and gives hair shine. It does not contain the harsh chemicals that many styling products have leaving hair dry and damaged. These products range from the soft hold gel to an ultra gloss wax that give definition and shine.
The Phyto hair products are packaged in glass and aluminum containers. This assures freshness of the botanical ingredients and means very little preservative needs to be used. This also keeps light and heat from inhibiting the effectiveness of the formulas.
